The first training event for Power of Preschool was held in Norfolk on February 28 at Little Panthers Preschool. The training was open to all early childhood professionals in the community and was led by UNL Extension Educators on the topic of STEM for children ages birth to five.
Participants included professionals from in-home care programs, child care centers, Northeast Community College, and multiple preschool programs. The training was offered at no cost to participants and provided approved training hours along with multiple books and activities that the providers can immediately implement with the children in their program.
