NDE Hosts School Safety Training in Norfolk

Hundreds of educators, law enforcement officers, and first responders from across Nebraska joined the Nebraska Department of Education’s School Safety staff recently for specialized training from the “I Love U Guys” Foundation. Members of the Norfolk Public Schools Safety team along with representatives from Norfolk Police Department were among the attendees.

Norfolk High School held events throughout the week for students related to college and career readiness. On Monday, the 17th, staff wore shirts or colors from their colleges and were encouraged to talk to students about their college experiences. NPS Student Named to 2022-23 Believers & Achiever List

Norfolk Public Schools announced today that Kyla Robinson was selected for the 2022-23 Believers & Achievers program. Believers & Achievers is a state-wide program designed to give recognition to Nebraska’s future leaders. Only 48 finalists were chosen out of the entire state.
