A Sweet Reward for a Job Well Done!

Grant Elementary School exceeded a reading goal set at 20 million words for the school year and received a "sweet" reward.
Each time the student body read a million words, a blank card on a bulletin board was turned over to reveal a letter in the reading reward. Eventually, students figured out that the reward would be a Banana Split Party, complete with multiple toppings, whipped cream and a cherry on top!
