Norfolk Public Schools invites you to join us for a presentation on legal issues related to students’ use of social media.
Norfolk Public Schools has invited Karen Haase to present “Digital Citizenship & Safety” during the 1/21/2020 school day to the NPS student body, grades 5-12. That evening Ms. Haase will also be sharing her one hour presentation with parents and community members. Everyone is invited to attend this informative evening presentation.
During her presentation, school attorney Karen Haase will discuss legal issues related to students' use of social media. Using humor, statistics, and summaries of real-life cases, Karen will explain to students the significant consequences attached to the inappropriate use of social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
