Mrs. Jen Carlisle has won the 2025 Nebraska Art Teachers Association Middle Level Art Educator of the Year! She will recognized and presented the award at the 2025 NATA (Nebraska Art Teachers Association) Fall Conference Awards Ceremony on Friday, October 17th, in Omaha, NE.
The Art Educator of the year award is awarded to a member of NATA/NAEA who spends at least .51 FTE teaching art to middle/junior high school students and has made additional outstanding contributions in art education beyond the classroom, including school, district, community, state and/or national levels.
Each year NATA recognizes and awards outstanding contributions to student learning in Nebraska classrooms, leadership in curriculum development in local school districts and communities, and participation in professional endeavors on state and national levels. Nominations for these awards come from NATA members and then are scored by the executive board. Congratulations again Mrs. Carlisle!
