Norfolk Junior High Students and Staff presented information about the Creation Station at Monday, May 13th, 2019 Board of Education Meeting. The Creation Station is a result of the joint efforts of Nucor, Norfolk Junior High, and Developing Youth Talent Initiative Grant. The Creation Station at the junior high consists of a laser cutter, vinyl cutter, 3-D printers, CNC machines, and embroidery machines. At the meeting, students shared and demonstrated how they have integrated these machines into their current classrooms. The partnership developed by the grant has had a large impact on student interest in both the classroom and related career fields.
