The Middle School students that attended Celebrate Creativity in Omaha presented at the Norfolk Public Schools School Board Meeting on November 12, 2018. Every fall Mrs. Erickson and Mrs. Carlisle take 50 Sixth graders to Celebrate Creativity at the Joslyn Art Museum. The day long event gives students the opportunity to take a guided tour of one of Joslyn's art galleries and participate in creativity sessions focused on art, music, dance, and theater before ending the day listening to a performance by the Omaha Symphony. The Omaha Symphony and the Joslyn Art Museum do an amazing job of providing students with a memorable experience and the students continually do a wonderful job of representing NPS on this annual field trip.
