On September 14, we sent 32 students and 3 Career Academy teachers to Grand Island to attend Husker Harvest Days. This was the first time we expanded this opportunity to Career Academy students outside of our Agriculture Academies. A large variety of careers and professions can be found under the Agriculture umbrella, which is why we chose to include other academy students. Three of these students are here tonight to speak to the board about their Husker Harvest Days experiences. Husker Harvest Days provides an up close look at all the careers and professions available within Agriculture locally, nationally, and globaly. This is just one example of Norfolk High School’s commitment to providing outstanding educational opportunities for our students.
