Washington Elementary is off and running and excited about all the things going on in our building. We have been selected as a National Blue Ribbon School and Mr. Andreasen and Mrs. Hoffman will be traveling to Washgington D.C. to accept the award. We had a very successful parent-teacher conference week and thank all of our parents for coming. The staff at Washington is focusing on math facts this year. Our students practice their facts daily and take weekly assessments. Students that pass these assessments get to participate in a kickball game with Mr. Andreasen. Washington is continuing to open our library on Thursday until 4:00 p.m. for any students that want to read an AR book or take a test. Students who make their goals get to participate in our AR celebrations. We welcome any parents to come in and read with your child.
