Two NPS Students Qualify for National SkillsUSA

Norfolk Public Schools (NPS) is pleased to share that two of our students, John Mann and Tyna Schmidt, will be competing at the National SkillsUSA Competition this year. The SkillsUSA National Conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia June 20-24th. Tyna and John were also the State Champions in 2021.

Norfolk High School Speech Team: “Student Voices Matter”

Panthers Exploring Careers with Hands-on Learning

High School students in the Drafting pathway offered at Norfolk Public Schools were recruited to work alongside 8th graders at the Norfolk Junior High School to bring their drafted doorstops to life using 3D printers. Apply2College Event

On October 21st, the guidance department will be hosting an event for seniors called “Apply2College.” College representatives and guidance counselors will be in the small gym assisting seniors with applications for admission to college from 8:00 - 11:00 am.

Students may miss class to participate, but this year they will sign up for a time slot.
