In music class, playing instruments is a favorite activity for many students! Kids LOVE to make noise! I love to see when it “clicks” and they realize they have organized that noise into music. Grant Elementary was bustling on Thursday evening, March 1, in celebration of “Read Across America” and Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Over 300 guests arrived to get their faces painted like the Cat, make crafts, play games and musical instruments, research wild animals, and eat green eggs and ham. But that is not all they did!
