Mrs. Thelen's class has embarked on a journey to help impact the world. Our class was chosen to take part in a program called Kid Power in conjunction with Unicef. Students will learn that they have the power to help children in other parts of the world by using a Unicef Kid Power band. These bands count steps and movement. Those steps will be used to unlock funding for life saving food packs. These packs have nutrients to help reverse malnutrition in children throughout the world.
Students will add movement throughout their day to increase their steps and save lives! They will also be traveling on "missions" to learn about children in other countries.
