Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week 2015     

 

Red Ribbon week for Westside Elementary will run from Oct. 5th-9th. This week is time to learn about the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol and to help students make wise decisions about their health.

Monday, October 5th- " " Red " Y To Live A Drug Free Life." Students wear RED to school.

Tuesday, October 6th- " Don't Let Drugs Mix You Up." Students wear MISMATCHED clothing.

Wednesday, October 7th- " Sock It To Drugs." Students will wear CRAZY socks.

Thursday, October 8th- " I'm Too Bright For Drugs." Students will wear BRIGHTLY colored clothes.

Friday, October 9th- " Team Up Against Drugs." Students will wear any TEAM apparel- Including Panther clothing!! :)

Saturday, October 10th- RED RIBBON RUN!!! Sunset Plaza Mall
8:30 Packet Pick-up 9:30 RACE!!!

 

Drug Free Pledge

 

I pledge to be drug free because I know that drugs are bad for me, my school, and my country. I say "NO"
to alcohol, tobacco, and other harmful drugs. The best choice for me is to stay
DRUG FREE!!!
