Recently, Grant Elementary worked on a school wide fundraiser that involved exercise and working together to achieve goals. Students gained pledges and committed themselves to 35 laps around the Grant playground! Way to go Grant!

Learning to Sound Out Words in Kindergarten

The Kinders in Mrs. Commerford’s class are learning how to sound out words with the use of
homemade PVC pipe phones. They say the word and figure out where they hear the sound we are studying. They love pretending to be using a real old-fashioned telephone.

Star Readers in Kindergarten
