Rain Can’t Stop the Fun at Grant!

Grant students were scheduled to have an outside field day, but Mother Nature had other plans! P.E. Teacher Josh Long modified the annual end of the year event to include shoe kick, standing long jump, bean bag throw and a running race.  

Second-Graders Visit Henry Doorly Zoo

Grant Second Graders enjoyed a day at the Henry Doorly Zoo on Monday, May 7th!  For many students it was their first time visiting the zoo. After returning to school, students completed a writing piece about their favorite memories.

Second Grade Zoologists Explore Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo!

On Monday, May 7th, students traveled to the zoo in Omaha. Students were delighted with the many exhibits and hands on activities. Students learned about animal habitats and are currently completing animal reports that connect with their adventures.
