Trees Decorated for the Vet's Home

In December, Grant students make large paper trees to decorate and share with the Veterans Home. Kindergarten Students Enjoy New Books

Grant students received a wonderful gift from our church friends at First United Methodist Church. The church purchased a new book for each child so that the love of reading can continue at home. Color Study for Kindergarten

Mrs. Commerford’s Kindergartners at Grant School have been studying colors.  During their study of color blue they read the storybook, Blueberries for Sal.   Afterwards, they went for a blueberry hunt around the school building.  It was fun to find blueberry muffins, blueberry cereal and even real blueberries.  Each item was placed into their own ‘blueberry basket’ and enjoyed back in the classroom…
