Youth, ages 14 and 15, are restricted by law in the number of hours and times of day they are allowed to work.
All minors 14 and 15 years of age are required to obtain an Employment Certificate completed by a designated school official.
The Employment Certificate may be viewed to be aware of the type of information needed to complete the certificate, but a school official must complete the certificate, verifying the minor's information and signature.
School Counselors will assist students with completion of the Employment Certificate during school hours in the High School Counseling Center.
Student presence is mandatory for completion of the Employment Certificate.
