News from Miss Bessmer's Room

Boy, what a year! I could not have asked for a better first year at Lincoln Montessori! Over the last couple of weeks my class has spent time pondering our favorite memories from the year. We all came to a consensus that we created so many memories that will never be forgotten!

I asked the 3rd graders-”What did you enjoy most about this school year?”

Myles: “I loved all of my teachers and learning multiplication!”

Jace: “My favorite part was our holiday party when we got to drink hot chocolate!”

Elise: “I really enjoyed drinking hot chocolate during our holiday party!”

Charley: “I liked when we planted beans during our Botany unit!”

Amaris: “Painting pots and planting flowers was my favorite part!”

Karsyn: “I enjoyed everything! I can’t choose just one thing!”

Devyn: “I really enjoyed all the time I spent with my classmates and teacher!”

Andy: “I loved all of my classmates and my teacher!”

Hayden: “I felt happy when I got my positive phone call home from the principal!”

Cole: “I loved my teacher and how we got Friday free time!”

Aiden: “I enjoyed hot chocolate, our holiday party, and when we wrote Haiku poems!”

I asked the 4th graders-”What is your favorite Montessori memory?”

Madi: “I will always remember how kind my teachers and friends were!”

Joaquin: “My favorite memory has been all of the field days!”

Abram: “I loved learning to play guitar in music class!”

Marshall: “In second grade I made a marble run out of cardboard. It was so fun!”

Jade: “I loved having the most awesome teachers!”

Noah: “Drinking hot chocolate for our holiday party!”

Elijah: “All of 4th grade year and how many awesome friends and teachers that I met!”

Josie: “Making friends and meeting all of my awesome teachers!”

Kalub: “I loved having all different, amazing teachers!”

Paislee: “The time we got hot chocolate at our holiday party!”

As I sat reading through all of these responses, I realized just how amazing this school year really was! Third graders are so excited for 4th grade, and fourth graders are so excited to move onto middle school. We will miss the 4th graders so much! I hope everyone has a great summer!
