Mrs. Mendlik's News

It's the fourth quarter, wow! I can’t believe we are almost done with the 2020-2021 school year! It has been an interesting and challenging year, but I am so thankful we have been able to be in school in person all year.

We have been busy in Mrs. Mendlik’s classroom. This past month we ended the third quarter and went on Spring Break. We also celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday, Read Across America, and St. Patrick’s Day. We have been busy working on our dodecahedron book reviews and they turned out to be so cool!

In math we have been learning about fractions, decimals, and long division. In our culture blocks, we finished up our continent study of Europe and started our new continent study of North America. We also learned about the water cycle, weathering/erosion, and the different climates.

We have the NSCAS (Nebraska State assessment) coming up on April 14 and April 21. We are looking forward to ending the quarter strong and preparing for our next grade!
