Here at Grant Elementary we are ringing in the Christmas spirit! Our students have decorated trees that deck our halls for a few weeks before they are sent to brighten up the days for the residents at the veteran’s home here in Norfolk! Our students work so hard to make these beautiful trees that send joy to anyone who sees them!
In third grade, we are showing off our fabulous letter writing skills! We have Pen Pals, other third graders from Tilden, that we write to every month. Our students are building friendships and engaging in meaningful conversations while writing. The students will continue writing back and forth, getting to know each other and building bonds, until the end of the school year when they will finally get to meet each other and have a fun-filled day of play!
