Mrs. Commerford’s Kindergartners at Grant School have been studying colors. During their study of color blue they read the storybook, Blueberries for Sal. Afterwards, they went for a blueberry hunt around the school building. It was fun to find blueberry muffins, blueberry cereal and even real blueberries. Each item was placed into their own ‘blueberry basket’ and enjoyed back in the classroom at a ‘blueberry picnic’.
