We can't believe the fourth quarter of school has already arrived! We can't believe how fast the time has gone, and how much our students have grown. As teachers, we love this time of year when our students read, write, investigate, and do so many things independently. We feel proud of each and every child! We have worked hard, and now it's time to celebrate!
On April 12th we will go to Northeast Community College for an Arbor Day Celebration! Students will go through different learning stations to learn the importance of trees. Each student will receive a free t-shirt! Please make sure your child wears PE shoes for this fun event as well as a jacket if the weather is cool.
April 15th will be another day of learning outside of the classroom! Our kindergarten students will again head to Northeast Community College and learn about farm animals and farm life. This is always a favorite trip as the students love to see, touch, and learn about the baby animals. We even get to see llamas, goats, and bunnies some years! The high school FFA students do such a nice job with this activity.
Finally, on Wednesday, April 20th there will be no school for current kindergarten students. We will be having kindergarten roundup to meet and greet future students. Your children will return to school the next day.
Stay tuned for information on our end of year celebration and other fun activities. Thank you to our families for your awesome support!
