During the month of January, students in Miss Gleason's 3rd grade and Miss Cronin's 4th grade teamed up to complete a project entry for the Youth Philanthropy Contest. On the evening of February 6th, 14 students came out to visit with community members about our project 'Purse Power' which will be used to fill 55 gently used purses with day to day necessities for women at Bright Horizons. That evening, we were lucky enough to be fully funded with the needed money, so that we can now make our project a reality. Next we will be buying the materials and packing the purses. We are excited to complete this project and make our donation.
