Prime Time Family Reading is off to a great start at Grant Elementary. It started September 29th and will end November 4th. The students and their families attend each Tuesday for six weeks. We get together for a meal and then read books in the library. The story tellers, Miss Cronin and Mrs. Martinez, read the books in English and Spanish. They lead discussions for the books and have fun activities for the students and parents to participate in. Two books go home each week and are returned the following week. This reading program is funded by the Nebraska Humanities Council and was started by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities. This is a fun way for the students of Grant Elementary to enjoy reading!
