Scholarships

The Norfolk Public Schools Foundation awards scholarships annually to students that will graduate from Norfolk High School. We are proud to partner with all donors to offer NPS students aid for post-secondary education.

Student applicants, to apply please read and follow these instructions carefully:

Click on the scholarship application link above to access the scholarship applications. You will be required to create a login to our scholarship system, Reviewr. Your login information will allow you to save your work, review a submission, and apply for multiple scholarships.
All applicants must be receiving a diploma as a member of the current year's NHS graduating class.
Applicants must also meet the criteria outlined for each scholarship. Simply click the scholarship name in the list below and a detailed criteria page will open. Applicants must submit a separate application for each scholarship they wish to apply for.
Scholarship applications are kept anonymous during the selection process. Your name will not be forwarded to the selection committee.
To determine financial need we use the SAR (Student Aid Report) from the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If the scholarships you are applying for lists "financial need" in the selection criteria, you will need to provide us with a copy of your FAFSA Student Aid Report. No other financial aid form will be accepted. Please do not ask for a deadline extension. To ensure anonymity, these reports will be used "in office" only to determine eligibility and will not be shared with the selection committee.
Transcripts are required and must be attached to this completed application at time of submission. The lack of a transcript will disqualify the applicant. If you have any questions regarding transcripts, please contact the Guidance Office. To ensure anonymity, your name will be blacked out by our office for the selection process.
Letters of Recommendation are a requirement for many scholarships. Letters of recommendations must be included with the completed application at time of submission (pdf format). To ensure anonymity, please ask your reference to not refer to you by name. All references to your name will be excluded for the selection process.
Completed applications and all necessary attachments, must be successfully submitted digitally via the scholarship online application system by the assigned deadline. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Selected recipients will be notified by email to the address you provided in your application. Notification will be given prior to the Honors Night presentation. If you receive a scholarship from NPSF, your participation at Honors Night is expected.
All recipients will receive a scholarship check issued jointly to the student and post-secondary institution.
