Norfolk All-School Art Show

Norfolk Sr. High art students did very well at the “Norfolk All School Art Show” sponsored by the Morning Optimists group. We sent 49 pieces to be judged, and 36 artworks placed! This art show took place at the Norfolk Sunset Plaza Mall on 1/31 - 2/3. Wednesday, January 23rd was "I Love Public Schools" day.  "I Love Public Schools" day is a day devoted to celebrating the teachers, students, and public school communities.

Many NHS staff members celebrated their love of public schools by wearing "I Love Public Schools" apparel.  See picture above.

Jr. Panther Cheer Camp

The NHS Cheerleaders will be holding their annual Cheer Camp on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a performance of what they learned at 12:00 p.m.  All girls in grades Kindergarten - 8th grade are invited to attend.  Cost of the camp is $30.00 per child (checks payable to Norfolk Senior High).

NHS Earns State Play Production Runner-Up Title

Congratulations to the Norfolk High School Play Production team on their state runner-up finish! The team performed in front of a sold-out Carson Theatre!

The Norfolk High Technical crew also earned most outstanding technical crew.

Kiley Anderson, Tomas Howell, Adam Kester, and Caleb Rittscher were recognized for outstanding acting performances.


NHS Unified Bowling State Runner-Up

Not only is the NHS Unified Bowling team the District Champion, they are now the NSAA State Runner up!  Congratulations to the team members and coaches on your hard work and determination!

In the seeding round the Panthers earned the #1 seed by rolling a 6 game total of 1055.
Quarter Final - Norfolk defeated Alliance (3-1)
Semi-Final - Norfolk defeated Lincoln High (3-0)

NHS Wrestling Wins Fremont Invite

Norfolk wins the Fremont Invite with 4-individual champions, 2-runner-ups, 3-3rd places, 1-4th place, and 2-5th places.

Josh Licking was voted Outstanding wrestler.

Congratulations to the wrestlers and coaches!

NHS One-Act Team Wins Districts

The Norfolk Play Production team is NSAA District A-1 Champions.

Tomas Howell, Adam Kester, Kylie Anderson, Caleb Rittscher, and Brian Martinez earned Outstanding Acting Awards.

Congratulations to the students and coaches!

The team will compete at the NSAA Play Production Championship on Friday, December 7. They will perform at 4:30pm in Carson Theatre.
