Norfolk High School Speech Team: “Student Voices Matter”

Panthers Exploring Careers with Hands-on Learning

High School students in the Drafting pathway offered at Norfolk Public Schools were recruited to work alongside 8th graders at the Norfolk Junior High School to bring their drafted doorstops to life using 3D printers. Student Council's Haunted Hallways

Haunted Hallways will be Friday, October 29th from 7-10 pm. 

Haunted Hallways is a Halloween event put on by the Student Council of NHS. 

This event is open to the public. 

There will be games, pumpkin painting, and the Haunted Hallway.

Admission is $3 for anyone under 12 and $5 for 12 and up. 

Costumes are welcome but no masks or face coverings are permitted.

2022 Youth Salute

This year, 200 high school youth leaders representing 78 schools in the metro area were recognized at this year's "Youth Salute" Awards Virtual Ceremony hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University. Teachers, guidance counselors and principals nominate students to apply to attend the Youth Salute event. Apply2College Event

On October 21st, the guidance department will be hosting an event for seniors called “Apply2College.” College representatives and guidance counselors will be in the small gym assisting seniors with applications for admission to college from 8:00 - 11:00 am.

Students may miss class to participate, but this year they will sign up for a time slot.

Norfolk High School Orchestra Concert Was “A Celebration”

My name is Maddox Weckerle-Dietz, and I am a senior at Norfolk Senior High School. I am the President of the Speech Team and a student journalist for the Norfolk Daily News. I am also the President of National Honors Society and Junior State of America, a student civic education and engagement club. In my spare time, I like to read, write, and spend time with my friends and family. 

2021 Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences

In-person Parent/Teacher Conferences will be from 4-7 on Tuesday, October 19th.

Parent/Teacher Conferences via Zoom will be from 4-7 on Wednesday, October 20th. 

On Thursday, October 21st, from 1-2:30 p.m., Parent/Teacher Conferences will be in-person, and from 2:30-4 p.m. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be via Zoom.
