The Health Sciences Career Academy offers student the opportunity to gain essential skill and knowledge in the areas of history, trends, legalities, and ethics of health care. In addition, students will possess foundational knowledge of infectious disease control and human development along with basic medical terminology used in healthcare today.
Students will explore various career opportunities and earn certification in our CNA course through hands-on training on safety and effective and caring services to patients in any health care setting.
CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)
Students completing the Health Sciences Career Academy will be prepared to start an entry level health care position or go on to further their education in health sciences.
