The Finance Academy introduces students to the process that is involved in the importance of keeping accurate records and figuring prices, profit, discounts, loss etc. in the business world. Students will explore the world of accounting including recording, summarizing and reporting, principles of income measurement and asset valuation, and accounting systems and control.
Students will also explore the world of personal finance including the understanding and skills in money management, budgeting, financial goal attainment, using credit, insurance, investments, taxation, and overall helping students become financially responsible, conscientious members of society.
