We are back in the swing of things in third and fourth grade at Lincoln Montessori! Mrs. Mitchell’s students are starting to find their rhythm during the daily work cycles. During this time of day students work on their individual work plans in the areas of language arts, math, and culture. They have small group lessons, work independently, and work in pairs. Working with the hands-on Montessori materials makes learning tactile, interesting, and fun!
On Friday, we end our weeks with “Flashlight with a Friend Friday.” Students get to partner up, find a comfortable place, and read with a buddy for 30 minutes. We look forward to this time every week!
Mrs. Mitchell’s students know that being in the 3rd & 4th grade is a big responsibility as the leaders and role models in school. We help with greeting in the morning, safety patrol after school, and following school procedures the best we can to show others how to be successful. Mrs. Mitchell is proud of how hard her students work every day!
