This year Lincoln Montessori Elementary participated in a different kind of fundraiser. This year we tried something new – Raise Craze. Raise Craze is a fundraiser centered on good deeds and acts of kindness! No Selling. No Pressure. Just Kindness. Students participated in AOK’s (Acts of Kindness) and in turn they asked donors to support Lincoln Montessori. The entire school participated in an all-school AOK by making Veteran’s Day cards and giving them to the Veterans. We are also participating in a “21 Gifts in 2021” Food Drive which ends on December 2nd. All food donations will be given to Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership; an amazing organization that provides food and other resources to the community. Our fundraiser went from October 26th-November 12th.
We did hit our fundraising goal for this year. We were blown away by the generosity of our school community and all of the AOK’s that the students have completed. They completed 206 AOK’s. So awesome!
To celebrate, on Friday, November 12th, some of the Pink Panthers came and helped with the celebration by doing a little dance with the teachers/staff. We also had a popcorn party for all of the students and staff. This was the last day of the fundraiser and World Kindness day – so much to celebrate!
