We are off to a great start this year. I have 23 eager kindergarten students ready for an amazing year. We are working on letters, numbers, and sounds. The children have been introduced to several Montessori jobs . They love the work! Each day the students get better at school routines. School is fun!
The students have begun with the MAP Reading Fluency testing. This is computer testing to help assess where the students are academically.
Our caterpillars arrived. We have our butterfly bungalow ready for the 4 stages of the butterfly life cycle. It starts as an egg, then the caterpillar, next the chrysalis, and finally the butterfly. We are watching changes daily.
It has been terribly hot at recess and specials, which are mainly being held outside. Fingers crossed for a lovely fall. Thank you for choosing Montessori for your child.
