Third Grade News : By Mrs. Shoemaker and students

The school year has been good in 3rd grade! In October, the 3rd and 4th grade went on a field trip to Lincoln. What fun to ride on the Panther bus! We visited the UNL Stadium, Morrill Hall, and the beautiful State Capitol Building.  The students work hard to finish their contracts each week. We have begun our work on multiplication. We have covered static multiplication, and now are diving in to work on dynamic multiplication. Knowing the facts is necessary. Playing multiplication bingo is especially fun on a Friday afternoon.

In cultural, we have finished our world packet, North America packet, South America packet, and Asia packet. The puzzle maps are completed as well. They learn many facts, and fun information.
