Y Kids Club at Jefferson

Y KIDS CLUB

The Norfolk Family YMCA provides this before and after school care program for grades K-4th at Bel Air, Jefferson, Montessori at Lincoln, Westside, and Woodland Park. Care is held at the schools, Monday - Friday, 6 am - 6 pm, and at the YMCA on School Out Days, snow days, holiday breaks, and summer.

From the Music Room

October No School Days

Jefferson will have an 11:30 dismissal on Thursday, October 26 and No School Friday, October 27 or Monday, October 30.  School will resume on Tuesday, October 31.  Enjoy this extra time with your family!

October Parent Teacher Conferences

Jefferson will be holding parent-teacher conferences Monday, October 23 4 - 7 pm, Tuesday, October 24 4 - 7 pm, and Thursday, October 26 1 - 4 pm.  This is an opportunity for teachers to share important information about your child with you and also for you to ask questions and share information with your child's teachers.  We hope you will make every effort to attend your child's scheduled conference.

PTO Family Night at Poppy's Pumpkin Patch

Jefferson's PTO will be hosting a Family Night at Poppy's Pumpkin Patch on Thursday, October 12th from 5 to 7 pm.  The cost to attend is $4.00 per person.  There will not be food available for purchase in the cafe, but families are welcome to bring in food.  This is always a fun time and we look forward to seeing you then!

Jefferson Elementary students will celebrate being Drug Free during Red Ribbon Week October 2 through 6, 2017.  Every day at school will be a different theme and we invite all students to participate in the fun!

New Procedures for Negative Lunch Balances

Norfolk Public Schools will follow the procedures listed when a student's breakfast and lunch account falls below $0 and becomes a negative balance.  These procedures fall within the specifics of District Policy 3571.
