This quarter, Grant elementary students are learning how to have a growth mindset at our morning meetings. Each week, we learn a mindset mantra, starting with, "I can't do this... YET!" We have learned that if something is difficult, we shouldn't just give up and say, "I can't do this!" Instead, we should recognize that learning is a process, so we can add "YET" to the end of that sentence, and keep trying. Some of our third graders shared how they have used this mindset mantra in their lives, in the pictures below.
