3rd Grade News

Second semester in third grade is exploding with new concepts and events to look forward to!  First of all, third graders are working hard to master multiplication facts!  Please help your third grader study these important facts.

Beginning in March, our third graders will have the opportunity to show off all that they have learned when they take district and state tests. We are busy setting goals. It is fabulous seeing students make plans about how they will meet and exceed those goals.    It is important students stay focused and show what they have learned this year at Grant.  Be sure that your third grader keeps working hard, gets plenty of sleep, and eats breakfast so that their brains keep growing and making important connections.

With all of this hard work also come opportunities for extra fun and community service!  In February, we plan to team up with Mercy Meals. Later, in the spring, we plan on meeting our pen pals from Tilden that we have been writing to all year!  More information about these exciting trips will be coming home soon!

We love watching your third grader grow and learn!  Keep working hard at home on those multiplication facts. Fourth grade will be here before we know it!
