The annual Red Ribbon Run was held on Saturday, October 10th at the Sunset Plaza Mall. Over 200 runners participated in the event with close to 20 students from Grant elementary. The top 3 boys and girls in each age group received medals. Although we didn't have any Grant Elementary students place, we had some that were very close to placing,and had a couple former Grant students that are now at the Junior High and Middle School who did earn a medal. Each student received a free T-shirt and a snack for completing the race. I hope to have more students participate next year.
