The Kinders in Mrs. Commerford's class are becoming true scientists! Dressed in " lab coats"
they have performed several real experiments.
They put parts of an apple in various jars of different liquids like; vinegar, water, oil and then just plain air. This experiment was to check which jar would preserve the apple the best. Can you guess which jar's apple still looks good enough to eat?
They checked if various items would sink or float.
They used pumpkins of various sizes to weigh, and measure for width and height. And now one of those pumpkins are cut up in a glass jar to decay. What a wonderful process to watch.
And recently, they created our own "fall" by putting celery in colored water to see it turn colors.
