Grant Elementary has kicked off the 2016-2017 school year! They have decided to 'Go for the Gold' this year with their new principal, Mr. Troy Berryman, leading the way. The festivities started off with students being welcomed by brightly colored, encouraging chalk messages that were written by staff the night before school began. Once in the building the Olympic theme continued throughout the week. Students joined in the fun by participating in their own Olympic games, setting goals for gold, making their own Olympic athletes, and some lucky students even got to make and EAT their own gold medals! It is clear to see when you walk down the halls, Grant Elementary has set the stage for an amazing year! GRANT'S GOING FOR THE GOLD!
