Dear Grant Staff, Students and PTO,
I am at a loss for words! Friday was really an amazing day for me! I thought the students showed wonderful Grant behavior at the movie and assembly. The movie theater director and Mr. Casey complimented me on what super students we have at Grant. Thanks for showing others what great Grant students look like!
The assembly surprises were really over the top! The special buddy bench is such an incredible way to be remembered! I look forward to seeing it in use and plan to stop by and sit myself now and then. And then the presentation of my favorite book - The Kissing Hand - with everyone's signatures! - Well I must say my heart was filled to the brim - and still is!
The special hugs were just the finishing touch to a day filled with so many special moments and now special memories. I can't imagine how much work went into all of this!!! I am very humbled by it all. It is just such an amazing blessing! What an honor for me to have had the opportunity to work with such great people - students, staff and parents. Thank you for the very special memories that will last a life time!
I will carry a part of you in my heart forever and I hope that a little part of me will stay with you as well.
