Together we are succeeding at NPS!

As we near the end of the first quarter of the 2020-2021 school year, I cannot help but be filled with a sense of gratitude.  I am extremely thankful that our COVID case count has remained low, that no one in our schools has fallen seriously ill, and that our schools are still open!

This is in thanks to our amazing staff who have been working tirelessly to implement our safety procedures…


Meals Update 10.02.2020

Parent/Teacher Conferences - Fall 2020

Norfolk Public Schools has Parent/Teacher conferences scheduled for the fall semester on October 19 - October 22, 2020.  To promote a safe environment for students, parents, and teachers, the school district will be altering the Parent/Teacher conference experience for fall 2020 and will be hosting zoom/virtual conference calls.

NPS offers free meals for all students through 2020

**9/21/2020 Update: Previously, we were told that August meals were ineligible, but Norfolk Public Schools has received new information that all paid meals since the first day of school, August 13, are included in the waiver extension.   Effective 9/21/2020, student meals purchased August 13 - September 18 have been refunded back to student meal accounts. NHS Awarded College Access Grant!

Norfolk Public Schools is excited to announce that Norfolk High School has been awarded a College Access Grant through the EducationQuest Foundation.  Norfolk Senior High School will receive $80,000 over four years to support college access programming.
