As we near the end of the first quarter of the 2020-2021 school year, I cannot help but be filled with a sense of gratitude.  I am extremely thankful that our COVID case count has remained low, that no one in our schools has fallen seriously ill, and that our schools are still open!

This is in thanks to our amazing staff who have been working tirelessly to implement our safety procedures…

The following email was sent to families of Norfolk Public Schools on 10/2/2020:

I would like to thank everyone for your patience as we transitioned into our no charge breakfast and lunch program.  Participation has been great and we are thankful for the opportunity the USDA has provided schools by extending the program through December 31st.

Norfolk Public Schools has Parent/Teacher conferences scheduled for the fall semester on October 19 - October 22, 2020.  To promote a safe environment for students, parents, and teachers, the school district will be altering the Parent/Teacher conference experience for fall 2020 and will be hosting zoom/virtual conference calls.

Norfolk Public Schools is excited to announce that Norfolk High School has been awarded a College Access Grant through the EducationQuest Foundation.  Norfolk Senior High School will receive $80,000 over four years to support college access programming.
