Lisa Dasher, Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, Little Panthers Preschool, is the recipient of the NPS Award for Excellence for May 2026.

- I am continually impressed by Lisa's passion, knowledge, and kindness as she supports some of our most challenging students each day. Not only does she help these students learn and grow in an environment tailored to their needs, but she also supports all of us by accommodating pull-out services for our students.
- Lisa saw a need for our students and immediately stepped up to make a difference. Over the summer, she dedicated her own time to creating a program that supports all of our learners, ensuring that every student has what they need to be successful. She has worked closely with classroom teachers and SPED staff to make sure each child’s individual needs are being met, showing incredible care and attention to detail along the way.
- Lisa creates a space where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. The care and creativity she brings helps the kids learn important skills and lets them truly shine. She has a great relationship with her team. I appreciate her dedication and the heart she pours into every moment. She will make a lasting impact on these children.
- Lisa is deeply committed to helping students grow and is always working to create a learning space that fits each student's individual needs. Lisa goes the extra mile by sharing detailed notes and photos to track progress.
