Apply2College Event

A total of 79 students participated throughout the day. At the event students had the opportunity to apply for admission to college, create a Parchment account to send their high school transcript to colleges, create a FSA ID (username and password for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid), eat a snack, and get an "I Applied To College" t-shirt.

11 area colleges were on-site at the event, which included:

  • Northeast Community College
  • Wayne State College
  • University of Nebraska at Lincoln
  • University of Nebraska at Kearney
  • University of Nebraska at Omaha
  • University of South Dakota
  • Nebraska Wesleyan University
  • Concordia University
  • Midland University
  • Mount Marty College
  • Morningside University

“Apply2College is one of my favorite days of the year. We get to see students take their first step toward continuing their education and building their futures,” said Heather Marotz, School Counselor at Norfolk Senior High.
