Norfolk Public Schools and the Norfolk Public Library have embarked on a new partnership aimed at getting more books into the hands of kids. Through an opportunity provided by OverDrive, who is the primary e-book supplier to both the school and public libraries, the public library’s collection of e-books is now available to all public school students. Students can log into their school library accounts and get access to all the Children’s and Young Adult e-books and e-audiobooks in the public library’s collection without needing a separate library card for the public library. With this partnership, students will have access to an additional 14,000 e-books and e-audiobooks. The Norfolk Public Schools and Norfolk Public Library are proud to be working together to provide expanded reading opportunities for students.
