After listening to several parents and teachers speak for and against the Orange Level/Hybrid Learning portion of our COVID-19 Return to School Plan, the Board decided to refer this plan back to the original committee that developed it for further review and possible revision. They also decided to temporarily suspend the Orange Level guidelines until they receive updated recommendations from that committee. That means that our current Yellow Level guidelines will remain in effect, and we will NOT move to Hybrid Learning until that committee submits new recommendations to the Board --even if the ELVPHD Risk Dial moves to Orange. The School Board feels comfortable with this temporary suspension because COVID cases within our schools have actually declined and are very low. We appreciate all of the feedback that we have received and will continue to look at the best way to move forward in this very fluid situation.

Estimados Padres,
Después de escuchar a varios padres maestros hablar a favor y en contra de la parte del Nivel Naranja/Aprendizaje híbrido de nuestro Plan de Regreso a Escuela, la Junta decidió remitir este plan al comité original que lo desarrolló para repasar y posible revisión. También decidieron suspender temporalmente las pautas del Nivel Naranja hasta que reciban recomendaciones actualizadas de ese comité. Eso significa que neustras pautas actuales del Nivel Amarillo permaneceran vigentes y NO pasaremos al Aprendizaje Hibrido hasta que el Comite presente nuevas recomendaciones a la Junta, incluso si la Marcacion de Riesgo de ELVPHD se mueve a Naranja. La junta Escolar se siente cómoda con esta suspensión temporal porque los casos de COVID dentro de nuestras escuelas han disminuido y son muy bajos.
