Aftershock is accepting applications for fall clubs.

Aftershock is gearing up for the new school year, and they are excited to have your child participate!  Sign-up information for the 2019-2020 school year can be found here.  The clubs are first come, first serve and space is limited in some clubs, so don’t delay in turning in your form.

Funded by the 21st Century Learning Grant, Aftershock provides after school and summer programming for 5th through 8th grade students throughout the school district.  Aftershock is open to public, private, and home schooled students, and it was established to fill a need for these students.

Aftershock provides opportunities for students to engage in hands-on, activity based learning, and students are allowed to be creative in ways the normal school day is not always able to allow.  Students participate in 3D printing, robotics, science, performing arts, arts and crafts, archery, fitness, soccer, reading, writing, history, multicultural, community service, entrepreneurship, and many other clubs.  These activities are provided at the Norfolk Junior High and Middle School Monday-Friday from the end of school until 6:00 pm during the normal school year, and for four weeks during the summer from 12:00-4:00 pm.

Aftershock welcomes parents, students, businesses, and community members to come observe the program or volunteer their time to help make the program better.  If you are interested in helping or learning more about Aftershock, please contact Mr. Casselberry, Aftershock Director, at 402-644-2569 or via email at austincasselberry@npsne.org.
