At our May 14 school board meeting, Grant Elementary students explained many of the projects and opportunities they've had this year to show how they are "Wild About Learning."
Students told board members about activities such as Dr. Seuss Night, Primetime Family Reading, and their Family Reading Book for the year, "The One and Only Ivan." At the school board meeting, students also asked board members to re-create one of the stations from Dr. Seuss Night, which involved making music and rhythm to the song, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
