Norfolk High School hosted #Apply2College Day on Thursday morning, October 26. The NHS Guidance Office organized the event as part of an initiative to encourage high school students to develop college and career readiness skills. Representatives from more than a dozen colleges and universities were present in the High School gym, eager to answer questions. Students were encouraged to sit down at a table and complete an online application if interested. In addition to meeting with college representatives, students were given an opportunity to obtain a FSA ID, request transcripts, talk to Armed Forces representatives, take a photo with the school pennant, and enjoy some donuts and juice. 150 NHS Seniors participated in this event funded by an Education Quest College Access Grant.
