Congratulations to Norfolk Public School students featured in "N is for Norfolk". This book was authored and illustrated by talented NPS students, and highlights the many people and places that have made Norfolk strong for the past 150 years. The book was the idea of Leann Widhalm and Chris Swenson, both teachers at Norfolk Junior High School. They approached many of their teaching colleagues with the idea of a publishing a book to encourage students to get involved in the Norfolk 150 celebration. The response was overwhelmingly positive and many students and teachers soon got involved.
"N is for Norfolk" books are available in soft cover ($15) and hard cover ($20) and will be for sale at some of the merchandise booths at local Norfolk 150 events. It is also available for purchase at some local book retailers. Supplies are limited so get yours today.
This book was partially sponsored by the Norfolk Public School Foundation and proceeds will be used to fund the foundation's programs.
