NPSF is excited to announce a new Dual Credit Scholarship program for the 2013-2014 year. These scholarships funded by the Margaret Robinson Memorial Education Fund, will allow NHS students to apply to receive one of 100 scholarships valued at $100 each. Congratulations to the many NPS teachers that received this year's Classroom and Special Project Grants. Over $25,000 was awarded for the 2013-2014 school year impacting thousands of students and many classrooms.


Congratulations to all the 2013 award recipients at the Celebrate Giving! event sponsored by the Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska. Also, a huge pat on the back for all the youth contest participants and winners. There were some truly fantastic ideas!  For more details visit www.philanthropycouncilne.org.


A private donor of NPSF provided funding to sponsor "Science Day" at Woodland Park elementary on 11/9/2012. Students spent an entire day learning all about the wonders of science!

Special Project Digital Conversion Grant Award

The NPS Foundation partnered with a group of educators, called the Digital Cadre, that are actively engaged in pursuing digital technology training for NPS professionals. One of the key objectives of Norfolk Public Schools is offer 21st Century learning. The Digital Cadre works to advance that goal. One item they need in the district were some podcasting kits. The NPS Foundation awarded $2500 in Special Project Grants for this request! Five podcast kits were purchased and awarded to 5 different NPS buildings.

On May 12, 2011 the Norfolk Public Schools Foundation awarded over $25,000 to 36 deserving NHS Seniors.  We are proud to support these scholarship opportunities for NPS students on behalf of our donors!
